SHEPHERD'S STORY

I’m Shepherd Govere, founder of New Life Journey. Rediscovering myself has been an intriguing journey with treasured lessons learned as well as ups and downs in my walk of faith. While working with Bold Faith TEN (Teach Every Nation) and Baptist Bible Ministry for the past ten years of ministry, I have grown to have a better understanding of the call to work in the body of Christ.

I managed to identify important issues that most local churches are missing with regards to equipping discipleship. This made me realize the underlying call to establish my own entity. I did not know how, when, who and where to go about this calling. It was when I was honored to attend one of the teachings at Teach Every Nation when I stumbled upon Dr. Bruce Wilkinson’s teaching on The Prayer of Jabez.
The Spirit laid this teaching on my heart and from that point on I felt God calling me to a new position which gave birth to New Life Journey – a faith-based organization with the vision and mission to partner with the local church in developing effective disciples in Zimbabwe.

New Life Journey seeks to partner, equip and activate local churches with training tools, strategies and methods for discipleship and missions.
